Hi, I’m Daniel Young. Welcome to my corner of the internet! I’m here to help dads, parents, and anyone who wants to break free from old health myths and feel better. The idea is simple: get healthy first, and everything else in life starts to fall into place.

Why I’m Here

About ten years ago, I felt stuck. I was overweight, tired, and always hungry. I tried many diets and workout plans, but nothing lasted. Then I discovered keto through Dr. Berg, who showed me that health should come first—even before worrying about weight loss. That small shift in my thinking changed everything.

I didn’t just lose weight; I regained my energy, focus, and confidence. I even got back the shape I had in high school! For a few years, everything was going great… until COVID-19 hit. Like many people, I fell off track and stopped taking care of myself. I gained the weight back, my energy dropped, and it felt like all my hard work had been erased.

Last year, I realized that if I continued down that path, I wouldn’t only be harming my own health—I’d also be letting my daughter down. So, I started over. I reached some important milestones, though I’m still working toward my ultimate goal. Along the way, I learned that this isn’t a quick fix; it’s a lifelong journey. There are ups and downs, but I’ve come to welcome every bump in the road and keep moving forward. And that’s one of the reasons I want to share my journey with all of you.
